DvbLink TV Server, Version 6.0, Part 2 - Clients/Viewer

Not much change in the Kodi PVR client aside from the server having the ability to send down channel logos. Prior to this, you needed to set up logos on each and every Kodi player, same with Favorites channel lists.

For Windows and MacOS, there are now native clients along side the web browser interface which relied on VLC for playback. These clients fully duplicate the web browser features for access to the server configuration.

Playback on live TV streams is decent on the Windows client. For recorded content, while it does have a scroll bar for access to the timeline, that is not really easy to use for skipping commercials, for example. It only has, pause/resume and stop buttons, about the same as the VLC player had.

The Kodi player with a suitable remote is much better as you have 10s, 30s, 60s, 3m, 5m and 10m skips available with the left and right arrow buttons. You also have a pause/stop and resume at the time you stopped feature. The Windows client starts over at the beginning of the recording every time.
