▼ Laser Engraving Tips - Using a Sandbox

If you want to engrave objects with a laser engraver and those objects are not completely flat on the bottom, you may have problems leveling your laser with respect to your object because it cannot lie flat on the table below your laser. A handy way to easily level your object with respect to your laser is to push the object into sand, rice or cat litter so that the unevenness of the object is negated. You can easily make a sandbox yourself, or you can use a baking tin for the oven that you fill with sand or another material of your choice.
