▼ Ortur Laser Master 15Watt problem with the Y axis
3d-PrintCreator
This video was going to be all about the Ortur Y axis rotary roller, but when filming, I ended up having a strange problem with my Ortur Laser MAster 15Watt.
To connect the Y axis roller, I had to unplug the Y axis cable from it's stepper motor. I connected it to the Y axis roller stepper motor, and then I could not connect to the machine anymore with my computer. I disconnected the cable again from the roller, and connected it back to the Y axis stepper motor, and then a strange thing happened.
All of a sudden, the Y axis motor changed it's direction, while I am 100% sure I did not change the rotation of the plug (that is impossible). Now the Ortur Master laser engraver homes in the wrong direction, never reaching the home switch, and I can't get it back to it's original state.
I just don't know how this could have happened. I know a way to solve this, by changing the rotation of the cable, but then I have to get the four wires out of the plug and re-wire the connector.
Can anyone tell me how this could have happened? I really don't get it. The machine worked fine for months, and now it doesn't work anymore.
I am so curious to know what could have changed this setting???
Please let me know if you have the answer to this. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpyBUtyrwBg
