ASROCK RGB breaks Windows 10? (can't boot!)

The ASROCK RGB software (Polychrome) hasn't been updated in months since the release of the B550 motherboards. In this video we explore the program's files and show where B550 entries should exist, but are absent. Attempting what others have suggested online (flashing RGB controller manually) can prevent wiondows from booting after the next shutdown. This also happens to be a genreation of board where BIOS-level RGB control has been removed, so now I, and probably others are left with permanent rainbow-unicorn mode on our desktops.
