The Electoral Count Reform and Presidential Transition Improvement Act would amend the 1887 Electoral Count Act and alter how Electoral College votes would be counted in a Presidential election. It is being promoted by House Representatives Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) and Fred Upton (R-Mich.). This is promoted as a means of preventing former President Donald Trump and his associates from contesting the election results in 2020.

In the meantime, Florida and Texas are busing immigrants into Democratic-majority areas across the country, especially close to the residences of influential officials, such as Martha's Vineyard, which is close to the house of former president Barack Obama.
